Salamander re-creation

This is my re-creation of the arcade game Salamander (1986) or also known as Lifeforce.

It is a 2D sidescrolling arcade game where the goal is to survive waves of enemies through a level and beating a final boss at the end. I was the programmer in a four man team where we had two artists and a sound/UI creator.

The premise of this project was to test our skills with what we had learnt, I could show my knowledge of the Unity Engine and create my own custom boss fight and have a robust power up system and score management system that saved score between runs.
